Basic Sauce Recipes

Horseradish Sauce

1/4 pint cream
1 dessertspoon cider vinegar
1 tsp mustard powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp raw sugar
2 tbsps freshly grated horseradish

Whip the cream and stir in the vinegar, mustard, salt, sugar and, finally, the horseradish.

Leave for at least 30 minutes before use.
